One of NBC’s few returning comedy series, Superstore, will air an original episode following one night of the network’s Rio Olympics coverage. With that plum lead-in, the episode is likely to snag a “giant audience,” but one that includes “a lot of new viewers who aren't used to the show,” executive producer Justin Spitzer explained this afternoon at TCA.
